The thing
is, today, something happened to a co-worker
of mine. I won’t enter in details because this blog isn’t to divulge the
private matters of other people. I will only say that what happened was
shocking and sad to me. That person is now in a difficult
situation. One I can relate all too well. I couldn’t say anything to him. I
could only do one thing. I prayed for his well-being.
With this, I understood one thing. We all feel emphatic to people because we
see ourselves in them. Let’s be kind to one another. Let’s sustain each other
in hard times.
“I’m sorry, but I don’t want to be an emperor. That’s not my
business. I don’t want to rule or conquer anyone. I should like to help everyone if possible – Jew, Gentile – Black Man,
White.
We all want to help one another. Human beings are like that. We
want to live by each other’s happiness – not by each other’s misery”.
